Originally named The Adelphean Society, Alpha Delta Pi was founded May 15, 1851 as the first secret society in the world for women. This society was founded by six women at Wesleyan College in Macon, the first college to grant collegiate degrees to women. 

 

Here at Georgia Southern, Epsilon Pi chapter was founded in 1968 and we were the first chartered sorority on row!
